1994 Gibson Les Paul Standard Ebony
This Gibson Les Paul Standard, built at Gibson’s Nashville factory in 1994, is an anniversary-year Standard. It’s a fine example of why the 1990s are often referred to as Gibson’s “Good Wood Era”. It features a solid, non-chambered mahogany body with a carved maple top, a set mahogany neck with a medium C profile, and a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays. It is equipped with Gibson 490R/498T humbuckers, Gibson Deluxe vintage-style keystone tuners, and a Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge with a stopbar tailpiece.
The guitar has a beautifully aged, high-gloss Ebony nitrocellulose finish, complemented by cream binding (naturally aged to a lighter yellow) and a cream pickguard. It is in excellent condition and comes with its original brown Gibson deluxe hard case.
